ERTÉ & SERIGRAPH DESIGN Erté’s fascinations with the possibilities of graphics began in the 1980s. First he experimented with lithography, then moved onto serigraphy (also called silk-screen printing). Erté’s creative demands expanded the medium requiring many new technical developments. Erté worked closely with a team of artisans involved in the making of his serigraphs.
